Photo vs. 3D: roller shutter exhibitor


On the left side you can see a picture from a photo shoot. On the right side a reconstructed scene in 3D.

It was a painstaking task to create an appropriate lighting and material setup for the 3D model, which optimally reproduces the representation on the photo.

Time spent on the 3D scene was about four hours including post processing in Photoshop. What a photo shoot, with three men and equipment costs for a day, you can safely imagine.

In many cases, it is worthwhile to have picture material for brochures, online media etc. made in 3D more cost-effectively.
